A preview of your day-to-day tasks

• Assists the orthodontist with all registered dental assisting duties, including orthodontic procedures, taking x-rays as prescribed
• Demonstrates ability to use assigned computer software and other equipment
• Adheres to all safety and infection control rules, using appropriate safety equipment
• Complies with HIPAA and maintains confidential information

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years of previous experience assisting in an orthodontic setting
• Familiar with Dentrix software
• In depth knowledge of all orthodontics dental assistant duties
• All required certifications for dental assisting
• Ability to travel to multiple locations within a territory to provide orthodontic dental assisting services is required
